Reisch Roofing and Construction LLC ("Reisch," "we," "us") operates reischroofing.com and quote.reischroofing.com (collectively, the "Sites"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights under the New Jersey Data Protection Act and other applicable laws.

Quick summary. We collect only the contact + property info you give us on our quote builder — name, phone, email, property address, and the roofing system you configured. We use it to provide a quote and schedule your free inspection. We don't sell your data. Ever.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us directly

Contact info: name, email, phone number, property address
Project info: roof size (squares), pitch, eave/ridge/valley measurements, penetrations
Product selections: manufacturer, shingle, underlayment, warranty tier, financing term
Signature (optional): a digital drawn signature for intent-to-proceed on your quote
Photos / documents (optional): if you share damage photos or insurance documents

Information collected automatically

Standard web-server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps)
Cookies / local storage needed for the quote builder to work (no tracking cookies unless you consent)
Google reCAPTCHA may run to block bots

Information from third parties

Public-record property data (assessor's records, tax records) when you provide a property address so we can pre-populate an accurate quote
Insurance-claim adjuster reports (only if you ask us to assist with a claim)

Build and deliver your roofing quote
Schedule and perform free property inspections
Prepare and send formal proposals and contracts
Manage the job from contract to completion
Register your manufacturer warranty
Send you service reminders, follow-ups, and promotional messages (opt-out at any time — see CAN-SPAM below)
Comply with legal obligations (permits, licensing, insurance, tax records)
Protect against fraud and misuse of our Sites

4. Who we share it with

We share your personal information only with the parties below, and only to the extent necessary:

Our office staff and subcontractors who need access to perform work on your project
Roofing manufacturers (GAF, CertainTeed, Owens Corning, IKO, etc.) when registering your warranty
Insurance carriers and public adjusters only if you authorize us to assist with a claim
Permit offices (municipal building departments) when pulling permits for your job
Financing partners only if you apply for 100% financing
Service providers (email delivery, payment processors like Stripe, e-signature, analytics) under contractual confidentiality obligations
Legal and regulatory authorities when required by subpoena, court order, or applicable law

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use it to train any AI or machine-learning system outside of our own internal operations.

5. How long we keep it

Customer records (name, address, job details, invoices): 7 years from last contact (IRS and NJ contract statute of limitations)
Marketing contact info: 2 years from last activity, or until you unsubscribe
System logs: 1 year
Legal and contractual records: permanent or as required by applicable law
DO NOT CONTACT and bounce lists: permanent (compliance requirement)

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

Access the personal information we hold about you
Correct inaccurate information
Delete your personal information (subject to legal retention requirements)
Port your data to another provider
Opt out of marketing communications (each message includes an unsubscribe link; you can also reply STOP)
Object to certain processing activities

8. CAN-SPAM and text messaging

Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link. We honor unsubscribe requests within 10 business days. We never transfer you to another mailing list. Reply STOP to any text message to opt out of SMS. Standard messaging rates apply.

9. Children's privacy

Our Sites are not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe we have done so in error, email us and we will delete the information.

10. Out-of-state residents

Our Sites are intended for prospective customers in our service area (New Jersey, Southern New York, Eastern Pennsylvania). Additional rights may apply to residents of other states under their respective privacy laws (California CCPA/CPRA, Virginia VCDPA, Colorado CPA, etc.) — we honor them as applicable.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be posted prominently on the Sites. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
